1209 Enterprise, LLC is a business networking organization that assists business owners, entrepreneurs and industry professionals. We offer services in various areas such as finance, marketing, printing, web design, business education and networking. We have an active online community of over 1,000 members which allows us an opportunity to share necessary resources amongst the network.

1209 Enterprise has various entities in which are all recognized for their own excellence. The 1209 Affair and the1209affair.com are the most noticeable of the company. The powerful and effective networking events have been the catapult for the company’s success. The website has also played a strategic role in the success by allowing members to communicate and socialize with event attendees online. 1209 Arts and 1209GMT, which are our printing, visual and marketing areas of the company, provide our members with graphic and printing services. 1209 Arts services include business cards, fliers, posters, brochures, banners, promotional items, web design, photography, etc to assist our members in obtaining the professionals materials needed to further their company. Our Gorilla Marketing Team (1209GMT) then carries out the task of effectively researching their market and distributing their message to the public and their targeted market. This is done through various means of advertising including fliers, posters, movie theater advertising, outdoor campaigns, radio, television and more strategic planning such as targeted member based organization referrals. 1209 Enterprise believes that proper education is the most effective path to a successful business or career. To enforce this motto we have developed 1209 University. Along with our business coaches, 1209 University sponsors seminars, workshops and trainings throughout the country. Recently 1209 Enterprise has launched 1209 Financial Solutions, LLC with partner Owen Grier and offers tax services and financial solutions including accounting, booking and business advisory. Since The 1209 Affair is a member based service we have strategically developed an ultimate package for our clients, “The 1209 Executive Suite.” 1209ES allows for members to envision a fortune 500 lifestyle and have access to many resources to assist the growth of their business.

1209 Enterprise, LLC, also known as “1209” by its many members, affiliates and partners, are very in tune with the knowledge and importance of relationships. These relationships are the bread and butter of our successful endeavors. In 2 years, we have encountered partnerships and affiliations with some of the world's leading businessmen, celebrities, and organizations. A few of these individuals include one of the world's leading Black professional networking expert, Mr. George Fraser, motivational master, Mr. Les Brown, actor and humanitarian Mr. Lou Myers, comedian, HBO actor and entrepreneur, Mr. Tuffy Questell and many others. Organizations include, Bronx giant, SoBRO, Inc., The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, who are founders of the largest urban festival in the world “Harlem Week”, The Women Chambers of Commerce, The Richmond Virginia Chamber Of Commerce and others.

THE TEAM.

The 1209 Affair is the brainchild of Frank Waters, CEO of 1209 Arts and a collaborative effort of Henry Nelson, owner and founder of Even Exchange Barter.

Frank Waters owns and operates a graphic/web design firm, “1209 Arts”. The 1209 Arts brand has developed state of the art websites from MY125Street.com, The Bronx Times, K9 Entertainment, DJ LA Luv and the Harlem News Group. He maintains and lays out format and advertisements for the New York Post and The Bronx Times Reporter. Mr. Waters also has an extensive background in event planning, developing music artist showcases, fashion shows and corporate launch affairs.

Henry Nelson is the founder and owner of Even Exchange Barter, the first black-owned barter company in this region. Henry Nelson brings his concept of "save cash, use barter" to the businesses of today. His large customer base company is equipped to handle almost every service for barter. And, if your company doesn’t have a service to barter, Henry Nelson is also a broker who can get you the best below market prices; he’s not your average broker.

Henry successfully held monthly seminar/networking events in Brooklyn, “Brooklyn, Stay in Business”. Each month Henry highlighted a professional entrepreneur who gave advice and information to small to medium business owners. Mr. Nelson is also a motivational speaker for troubled teens and/or at-risk teenagers. He has spoken at high school career day events, churches and the Brooklyn Job Corps. He also speaks at New York prisons for a prison ministry.
