In 1994 my good friend Alfie Wade introduced me to a website.Until that introduction I thought a website was the home of Spiderman.After taking the time to understand this new technology, I was able to visualize how it would change life on earth forever.
In 1995 I wrote my first article that focused on the concept of the digital divide.I wrote then that, “The greatest form of discrimination in the 21st century will be the digital divide, the lack of access to, and understanding of, the internet and general computer knowledge.”We now see the truth in those words.But we're also seeing that New Media technology is now available to everyone.And it will create value for those who are creative, no matter who they are, or where they are.

Harlem on Time will develop a series of pilot projects in Harlem and then focus on bring On Time live programs in urban areas across the country. The 1209 affair website has over 1000 local, national and international business and professional members; the site receives over 40 thousand hits per month.
In past articles I’ve written about Tom Burrell’s new book “ Brainwashed: Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority”. It was not an easy book for me to read. I’m not sure about others who’ve read it, but for me it was difficult to accept how deeply negative propaganda has penetrated my subconscious mind.
Burrell takes the reader step-by-step from slavery to today’s controlled media, and little has changed. My first reaction was anger. I was forced to take a look at my past, and current actions, and realized that no matter how much on top of things I thought that I was, I, like most people of color, have been subjected to a controlled and calculating destruction of a healthy and positive self-image.
